Visitor's Guide: Yachats, OR

Yachats is known as "the Gem of the Oregon Coast", is a quaint little village with a population of slightly more than 600 and is located between Florence and Waldport.  It is situated at the mouth of the Yachats River and cradled between the mountains and the ocean.  This unique little village has long been known as a popular vacation destination and draws people from all over because of it's charm and incredible scenic attractions. 

There are some nice places to eat and rest in Yachats during both summer and winter seasons.  Be sure to make reservation far in advance for the busy summer months.

During the winter months the Oregon Coast is know for it terrific stormy weather.  Storm watchers come and visit this city to watch the breakers pound into the rocky shorelines of Yachats.
