Pacific City
is a quaint little village that is nestled between the
Nestucca River and the Pacific Ocean and is located 10 miles North
of Neskowin. This village is growing with new shops,
galleries, restaurants and homes. Year-round horseback riding and
fishing charters are available by appointment.
Pacific City is known
as the "Home of the Dory Fleet" because of the flat-bottomed
fishing boats that are launched right from the shores at Cape
Kiwanda. Cape Kiwanda also offers tide pools and
300-foot dunes for climbing.
Areas of interest: The three capes (Cape Mears, Cape Lookout and
Cape Kiwanda), Sand Lake and the Nestucca River.
